Organisation’s mission and activities
The Centre for Psychosocial Activities “Nauja pradžia” is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation whose main goal is to provide psychosocial support to different groups in society. The main mission of the Centre is to promote emotional and social well-being through an integrated approach to human health and well-being. The organisation aims to create a safe and supportive environment where each individual can find the support needed for personal growth and successful integration into society.
„Nauja pradžia“ runs a range of activities tailored to different groups in society. The main activities include psychological counselling, social integration programmes, group therapy sessions and various other initiatives aimed at improving emotional and social well-being. Psychological counselling is provided on an individual basis and focuses on the specific needs of the person in order to help them overcome personal crises, emotional difficulties and psychological problems.
Social integration programmes are organised to help people facing social barriers to integrate successfully into society. These programmes include a range of activities such as job search training, social skills training and support for community integration. Group therapy sessions enable individuals to share their experiences and feelings with others going through similar experiences, to receive emotional support and to develop social skills.
One of the most important aspects of the organisation’s work are the success stories that show how “Nauja pradžia” helps people to start a new phase in their lives. These stories often testify to the personal achievements and changes that people have made with the support and help they needed. For example, one client successfully found a job and became an active member of the community after taking part in a social integration programme, while another client overcame depression and strengthened her social ties after attending group therapy sessions.
